Arun Ramamurthy is and IIM - C alumnus and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Presidency College, Kolkata.
Prior to establishing Credit Sudhaar, Arun had been a retail banker and has had an illustrious career with some of the leading banks like Standard Chartered, Citibank and Deutsche Bank. Arun in his career with banks had the opportunity to lead various verticals including lending, credit and collections and insurance.
At Deutsche Bank, he was responsible for setting the up unsecured business right from the scratch. He managed the bank’s greenfield project with a large team of more than 1000 direct and indirect reportees.
Arun has also been pioneer in establishing the asset resolution company in retail assets in India. This company continues to manage a book of several thousand crore of distressed assets.
His business philosophy entails around his belief that is an outcome of the experience gained while dealing with thousands of defaulters; that people default on account of circumstances and should be given a chance to reenter the financial mainstream through access to loans and credit.
Arun has also co-authored: "Unlock the Power of Your Credit Score". This is India's first book on Credit Scores and aims at helping people to have a better understanding on credit and provide them with tools to utilize credit scores in achieving their financial objectives.
Gaurav Wadhwani, a management graduate from MDI, Gurgaon, is and experienced banker and holds proficiency in credit owing to his vast experience in leading roles in credit, credit strategy and policy and credit analytics.
Gaurav has managed large teams of over 500 direct and indirect reportees at Standard Chartered Bank and Deutsche Bank in India.
Gaurav has also been part of the asset resolution start up that pioneered this business in India and still manages thousands of crores of distressed assets.
Gaurav is a strong believer in the philosophy that the borrowers and lenders interests are coterminous and hence the people who default on account of genuine exigencies should be given a second chance to have access to funding. Non availability of credit will only lead to further complexities in one’s life and will lead to worsening the financial situation.
Gaurav is also the co- author of India’s first book on Credit Scores : "Unlock the Power of Your Credit Score".
